Jared Leto and the director for Chapter 27, Jarrett Schaefer, hosted a Q&A about the film in New York on March 29. Lindsay Lohan was not there to promote the film, but I wanted to bring over some of the news. First, you can check out an interview here, which offers some insight into why Lindsay Lohan chose to work with a first-time director on this movie:
"I guess I beat the odds," he observed. "I know she really liked the writing, really liked the sort of earnestness of the script. And when you’ve got three great producers who have great credits each all coming together for this one little movie, you’re not exactly a first time director although you are. She trusted me and wanted to do a film like this. I think what’s great about Lindsay is that her work is getting infinitely more interesting and complex."

And yes, Jared Leto is looking much better again! While he ate nothing but junk foot to gain the 60 pounds to play Mark David Chapman in this movie, his health was not great as a result. Jared says it took about a year to recover, eating healthy and even going raw.
